Civil Engineering graduate of the Universities of Coventry and Grenoble with over 20 years industry experience as a Geotechnical Engineer actively involved in the design and construction of a wide range of geotechnical structures specializing in geosynthetic solutions. My career has taken me from Comtec UK Ltd to Keller Ground Engineering, VSL and Bachy Soletanche working throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
Currently Chief Civil Engineer at Low & Bonar working with a team of in house Engineers in ensuring the proper design and application of a full range of geosynthetics within the Enka Solutions Civils brand.
Introduction to the use of geosynthetic tubes for coastal protection, beach nourishment, channel training and repair and reclamation works. Geosynthetic tubes provide a cost effective and environmentally friendly solution for the precise placement and containment of dredged materials both onshore and underwater to facilitate the construction of breakwaters, groynes, jetties, levees, slope repairs and scour protection.
